Jacques-Laurent Agasse

Jacques-Laurent Agasse (1767–1849) was a Swiss-born British painter regarded as one of the finest equestrian and animal artists of the Regency era. Trained partly in the circle of George Stubbs in London, he combined scientific anatomical accuracy with refined draftsmanship, producing prized horse portraits and exotic-animal studies for British nobility. Master Canvas Art offers 55 hand-painted oil reproductions of Jacques-Laurent Agasse's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
