Norwegian19th Century

Peder Severin Kroyer

Peder Severin Krøyer (1851–1909) was a Norwegian-born Danish painter and the central figure of the Skagen Painters, the colony of artists who gathered at the northern tip of Jutland in the late 19th century. His luminous beach scenes — particularly the dusk hour known as the "blue hour" — defined Scandinavian Impressionism. Master Canvas Art offers 26 hand-painted oil reproductions of Peder Severin Kroyer's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
