Adèle Romany (1769–1846) was a French Academic painter known for miniatures and portraits of theatrical and artistic personalities. Born Jeanne Marie Mercier; legitimized by Marquis de Romance (1778); pupil Jean-Baptiste Regnault; exhibited 80 works Paris Salon over 40 years.
