Charles Marion Russell

Charles Marion Russell (1864–1926), known as C.M. Russell and 'Kid' Russell, was an American artist of the Old West. Over two thousand paintings and bronze sculptures depicted cowboys, Native Americans, and frontier landscapes of Montana and Alberta. A self-taught storyteller-artist, Russell captured the spirit of vanishing frontier life with dynamic composition and authentic detail. Master Canvas Art offers 222 hand-painted oil reproductions of Charles Marion Russell's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
