Guy Orlando Rose

Guy Orlando Rose (1867–1925) was an American Impressionist painter who received national recognition in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. After studying in Paris, he lived at Giverny 1904–1912, where Monet became his mentor. Returning to California, Rose painted coastal landscapes and taught at the Stickney Memorial Art School in Pasadena. Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
