Hans Zatzka

Hans Zatzka (1859–1945) was an Austrian Academic painter and fantasist known for romanticised scenes of women, fairies, and mythological figures. Drawing inspiration from Richard Wagner and fairy tales, he created dreamlike compositions with decorative ornament and sensuous colour.
