Johannes Vermeer

Johannes Vermeer (1632–1675) was a Dutch painter who devoted himself exclusively to domestic interior scenes and portraits of middle-class life. Working in Delft throughout his career, he achieved fame locally as a guild leader, yet created only about 37 paintings in his lifetime. His scenes are distinguished by brilliant orchestration of light, subtle human gestures, and quiet atmospheric calm. One major patron acquired roughly half his entire output. Master Canvas Art offers 30 hand-painted oil reproductions of Johannes Vermeer's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
