John Singleton Copley

John Singleton Copley (1738–1815) was an American-born painter active in colonial Boston and later in London. The foremost portrait artist of the American Revolution era, he captured leading figures including Paul Revere and Samuel Adams with penetrating realism. After relocating to England in 1774, he continued his success as a portraitist while also painting ambitious historical scenes depicting modern subjects and dress. Master Canvas Art offers 42 hand-painted oil reproductions of John Singleton Copley's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
