József Rippl-Rónai

József Rippl-Rónai (1861–1927) was a Hungarian painter and the only Eastern European member of Les Nabis, the French Post-Impressionist group. After studying in Munich and Paris under Mihály Munkácsy, he met the Nabis and was dubbed le nabi hongrois (the Hungarian Nabi). His work merged decorative flatness with subdued palettes characteristic of French Post-Impressionism, introducing these innovations to Hungarian art. His 1894 painting My Grandmother achieved significant success. Master Canvas Art offers 13 hand-painted oil reproductions of József Rippl-Rónai's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
