Mary Cassatt

Mary Cassatt (1844–1926) was an American painter and printmaker who became the only officially recognized American member of the Impressionist movement. Born in Pennsylvania, she spent most of her adult life in France where she befriended Edgar Degas and exhibited in half of the Impressionist exhibitions. After 1890, she specialized in intimate compositions of mothers and children, capturing their social and private bonds. Her advocacy for Impressionism helped secure its acceptance in the United States. Master Canvas Art offers 29 hand-painted oil reproductions of Mary Cassatt's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
