Maximilien Luce

Maximilien Luce (1858–1941) was a prolific French Neo-Impressionist painter, wood-engraver, and anarchist activist. Beginning as an Impressionist and engraver, he embraced Pointillism around 1884 after encountering Georges Seurat's divisionist technique. His Neo-Impressionist canvases earned admiration from Pissarro and Signac; critic Félix Fénéon declared his work among the most productive and accomplished of the Neo-Impressionist movement. Master Canvas Art offers 22 hand-painted oil reproductions of Maximilien Luce's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
