Raphaelle Peale

Raphaelle Peale (1774–1825) was an American still-life painter widely regarded as the first major still-life specialist in U.S. art. The eldest son of Charles Willson Peale, he produced exquisitely controlled compositions of fruit, glassware, and trompe-l'œil arrangements that established the genre's foundation in early-republic America. Master Canvas Art offers 32 hand-painted oil reproductions of Raphaelle Peale's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
