Alexander Koester

Alexander Koester (1864–1932) was a German Late 19th-century Realism painter known for ducks in water, waterfowl, lake scenes. Koester became famous as 'Enten-Koester' (Duck Koester), specializing exclusively in duck paintings for 30 years; earned gold medals at St. Louis World's Fair (1904) and Berlin exhibitions.
