Cecil Leonard Burns

Cecil Leonard Burns (1863–1929) was a British painter of genre scenes, landscapes, and Indian river views. Trained under Hubert von Herkomer at the Bushey School of Art, he served as Principal of the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts and later led the Sir J.J. School of Art in Bombay until 1918, advocating plein-air painting in both watercolour and oil. Master Canvas Art offers 2 hand-painted oil reproductions of Cecil Leonard Burns's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
