Constant Montald (1862–1944) was a Belgian Symbolism painter known for symbolic landscapes, decorative murals, academic compositions. Key figure in Belgian Symbolism and final leading figure of Art Nouveau; won Belgian Prix de Rome 1886; professor at Brussels Academy 1896–1932; taught Magritte and Delvaux.
