Ferdinando Silvani

Ferdinando Silvani (1823–1899) was an Italian painter and engraver from Parma, trained at the Ducal Academy under Paolo Toschi. He is best known for atmospheric Venetian views — gondolas, the lagoon, and the city's iconic landmarks — painted with refined draftsmanship informed by his earlier work as a chalcographer translating Correggio and Parmigianino into print. Master Canvas Art offers 2 hand-painted oil reproductions of Ferdinando Silvani's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
