Gaspare Landi

Gaspare Landi (1756–1830) was an Italian Neoclassicism painter known for lyrical-sentimental neoclassical compositions, portraiture, religious allegorical scenes. Studied in Rome under Domenico Corvi and Pompeo Battoni age 25; rivalry with Vincenzo Camuccini; president Academy of San Luca 1817; taught 1812–1827.
