Georges Antoine Rochegrosse

Georges Antoine Rochegrosse (1859–1938) was a French Academic painter known for colossal historical scenes, orientalist subjects, emotional naturalism. Paris Salon début 1882; Prix du Salon 1883 (Andromache); Officer Legion of Honor (1892); lived final years in El Biar, Algeria.
