Harry Dixon

Harry Dixon (1861–1941) was an English Academic painter known for wildlife painting and sculpture, lions, animals. Son of photographer Henry Dixon; studied Heatherley's, Académie Julian Paris (Bouguereau, Lefebvre); carved four Imperial Institute lions (1887–93); Chantrey purchase 1891.
