Hippolyte Petitjean

Hippolyte Petitjean (1854–1929) was a French Neo-Impressionist painter and a close associate of Georges Seurat and Paul Signac, working in the rigorous pointillist technique throughout most of his career. His luminous landscapes, allegorical figures, and watercolors translated Divisionist color theory into a softer, more lyrical register than the movement's leading masters. Master Canvas Art offers 6 hand-painted oil reproductions of Hippolyte Petitjean's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
