Ilya Chashnik

Ilya Grigorevich Chashnik (1902–1929) was a Russian suprematist painter, pupil of Kazimir Malevich and founding member of UNOVIS, the Affirmers of the New Art. Proficient in metalwork and ceramics, he applied Suprematist principles across disciplines.
