Ivan Pokhitonov

Ivan Pavlovich Pokhitonov (1850-1923) was a Russian landscape painter and graphic artist who spent his working life in France and Belgium. Born in Ukraine, he exhibited regularly at the prestigious Paris Salon, where French critics lauded his exquisite miniature landscapes, dubbing him Roi des Petits and praising their pearl-like quality. He lived in Liege, Belgium, and also painted in Italy. His meticulous detail and technical virtuosity earned him recognition as a master of the miniature landscape form. Master Canvas Art offers 1 hand-painted oil reproduction of Ivan Pokhitonov's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
