Jacek Malczewski

Jacek Malczewski (1854-1929) was a Polish Symbolist painter regarded as the father of Polish Symbolism and central figure of the patriotic Young Poland movement. Born in Radom under Russian occupation, influenced by his father Julian, a patriotic activist, Malczewski enrolled at Krakow's School in 1873. His works intertwine Polish martyrdom with mythology, folklore, and Christian iconography, creating a unique national visual identity. Serv as professor at Krakow Academy (1897-1900, 1912-1921), he won honors in Berlin, Munich, and Paris.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
