Jules Chéret

Jules Chéret (1836–1932) was a French painter and lithographer crowned the father of the modern poster. A master of Belle Époque visual culture, he revolutionised chromolithography using only three primary colours layered transparently. His joyous Cherettes—liberated feminine figures—captivated Parisian audiences. Master Canvas Art offers 2 hand-painted oil reproductions of Jules Chéret's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
