Jules Pascin

Jules Pascin (1885–1930), born Julius Mordecai Pincas, was a Bulgarian artist known as the Prince of Montparnasse. Active in the School of Paris, he depicted figures with expressive line and sensual brushwork. Based in Paris and New York, he became an American citizen in 1920 but returned to France.
