Konstantin Gorbatov

Konstantin Gorbatov (1876–1945) was a Russian Post-Impressionist landscape painter celebrated for sunlit views of provincial Russian towns, Volga river scenes, and later Italian and German cityscapes painted in exile. A graduate of the St Petersburg Academy, he emigrated after the Revolution in 1922 and settled in Berlin, where he died during World War II.
