Martin van Meytens

Martin van Meytens (1695–1770) was a Swedish-Austrian painter renowned for portraying the Austrian royal court and aristocracy. His refined rococo style and flattering characterizations of Marie Antoinette, Maria Theresa, and Francis I established him as the preferred portraitist of imperial Vienna. His elegant compositions influenced court painting throughout Europe. Master Canvas Art offers 1 hand-painted oil reproduction of Martin van Meytens's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
