Mattia Preti

Mattia Preti (1613–1699) was an Italian Baroque painter who worked extensively in Italy and Malta. His dynamic compositions and dramatic lighting reflect Caravaggio's influence while developing personal expressiveness. As a Member of the Order of Saint John, his ecclesiastical commissions dominated Maltese religious art. Master Canvas Art offers 1 hand-painted oil reproduction of Mattia Preti's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
