Paulus Moreelse

Paulus Moreelse (1571–1638) was a Dutch Golden Age painter, architect, and portraitist active principally in Utrecht, where he was a founding member of the painters' guild and designer of the city's Catharijnepoort gate. Trained in Delft under Michiel van Mierevelt, he is best known for elegant Mannerist portraits of Utrecht patricians and idealized pastoral scenes of shepherdesses that became staples of the Utrecht school. Master Canvas Art offers 3 hand-painted oil reproductions of Paulus Moreelse's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
