Pompeo Mariani (1857–1927) was an Italian Academic painter known for seascape and marine landscape, orientalist sketches. Significant 19th-century Italian marine painter; 1884 Umberto Prize (Salute to the Dying Sun); 1885 Paris gold medal; died Bordighera.
