Richard Redgrave

Richard Redgrave (1804–1888) was a British Pre-Raphaelite painter known for landscapes and social-conscience genre scenes. RA 1851 (retired 1882); art superintendent 1852; inspector-general for art 1857; reform of British art education with Henry Cole.
