Roger de la Fresnaye

Roger de la Fresnaye (1885–1925) was a French Cubist painter associated with the Section d'Or group alongside Gleizes and Metzinger, best known for his luminous "The Conquest of the Air" (1913), a celebrated meditation on flight, modernity, and color held by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Wartime gas exposure cut his career short, but his lyrical, classicized Cubism remains a key contribution to early French modernism. Master Canvas Art offers 2 hand-painted oil reproductions of Roger de la Fresnaye's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
