Arthur Wesley Dow (1857–1922) was an American Arts and Crafts painter known for landscape, woodblock prints, Hokusai-influenced compositions. Studied Japanese ukiyo-e under Ernest Fenollosa; Pratt Institute 1895–1904; Columbia Teacher's College Director 1904–1922; taught Georgia O'Keeffe.
