Edward Mason Eggleston

Edward Mason Eggleston (1882–1941) was an American painter and commercial illustrator specializing in calendar portraits of women rendered in fashionable and fantastical styles. Known for escapist imagery during the Great Depression, his works depicted women in stylized dress, costume, and romantic settings for calendar producers and jigsaw puzzle manufacturers.
