Emily Murray Paterson RSW SWA (1855–1934) was a Scottish artist connected with the Glasgow School and elected member of the Royal Scottish Watercolour Society and Society of Women Artists. Born in Edinburgh to solicitor Duncan Wilkie Paterson, she studied at Edinburgh College of Art and in Paris before settling in London (1917). Her favored subjects—landscapes, architecture, botany—grew from wide travels (1909–1934), including post-WWI visits to Ypres battlefields. She exhibited at the Royal Academy 17 times and received a memorial exhibition at London's Walker's Gallery.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
