Franz Bischoff

Franz Albert Bischoff (1864–1929) was an American painter known for floral works and California landscapes. Born in Austria, he immigrated in 1885 and pioneered porcelain painting, earning the nickname King of the Rose Painters. Moving to South Pasadena in 1906, he transitioned to oils, developing bold Impressionist-influenced colour harmonies. Master Canvas Art offers 6 hand-painted oil reproductions of Franz Bischoff's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
