Gaston La Touche

Gaston La Touche (1854–1913) was a French Symbolist and Post-Impressionist painter known for richly colored fêtes galantes, theatrical scenes, and luminous garden settings inspired by 18th-century Rococo masters. A friend of Manet and Degas, he became a sought-after decorator of Parisian salons and public spaces, his shimmering palette earning him the nickname "painter of joy." Master Canvas Art offers 3 hand-painted oil reproductions of Gaston La Touche's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
