George Vicat Cole (1833–1893) was a British Victorian landscape painting painter known for English landscapes, atmospheric effects, Thames and Sussex scenes. Son of landscape painter George Cole; RA 1880; specialization in atmospheric effects and light in naturalistic English landscapes; 'The Pool of London' purchased by Chantrey Fund for Tate Gallery 1888.
