Hendrick van Steenwijck the Younger

Hendrik van Steenwijk II (c.1580-1640) was a Baroque painter renowned for architectural interiors, biblical scenes, and still lifes. Born in Antwerp, his father was a pioneer of the interior genre. After his father's death in 1603, he took over the Frankfurt studio, later working in Antwerp with Frans Francken I and Jan Brueghel the Elder. By 1617 he was in London painting backgrounds for Van Dyck and Mytens. He moved to The Hague around 1638 as court painter. Master Canvas Art offers 1 hand-painted oil reproduction of Hendrick van Steenwijck the Younger's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
