Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench

Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench (1849-1916) was one of the most prominent Spanish Impressionist painters, born in Valencia. From poverty, he apprenticed as a silversmith and tile painter before enrolling at San Carlos Academy in 1864. Returning to Valencia in 1874, he abandoned academic history painting for intimate family subjects and daily life scenes, anticipated modernist approaches. He taught at the Academy from 1884-86, including Sorolla among his pupils. He received multiple gold medals and had a street named after him in 1912.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
