Isaac Levitan

Isaac Levitan (1860–1900) was a Russian Realist landscape painter widely regarded as the master of the "mood landscape" (peyzazh nastroyeniya), capturing the melancholic, lyrical character of the Russian countryside. A close friend of Anton Chekhov and a student of Alexei Savrasov, his late masterpieces such as "The Vladimirka Road" rank among the most important works of 19th-century Russian art. Master Canvas Art offers 5 hand-painted oil reproductions of Isaac Levitan's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
