John La Farge

John La Farge (1835–1910) was an American polymath artist whose career spanned painting, illustration, murals, interior design, and art writing. He pioneered stained glass design and held a patent for superimposing glass panes to achieve colour effects. From 1878 onward, he designed over 400 stained-glass windows, primarily for American churches. His mural projects adorned major public buildings; his 71-year-old self executed four lunettes for the Minnesota State Capitol. Master Canvas Art offers 15 hand-painted oil reproductions of John La Farge's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
