David Hettinger

David Hettinger (b. 1946) is an American figurative painter from Aurora, Illinois. He trained at the American Academy of Art in Chicago in classical realism and Old Master technique, then studied with David Leffel and Richard Schmid in New York. Working from life, his canvases capture quiet relationships and intimate moments, alongside landscapes and still-lifes drawn from memory. A Master Signature Member of Oil Painters of America, he received the OPA Gold Medal in 2010. Master Canvas Art offers 2 hand-painted oil reproductions of David Hettinger's work.
