Paul Emile Chabas

Paul Émile Chabas (1869–1937) was a French academic painter best known for "September Morn" (1912), the demure nude bather whose American exhibition triggered a celebrated obscenity controversy and made the work an icon of Belle Époque popular culture. A Salon medalist and longtime Académie Julian student, he specialized in luminous outdoor figure compositions of women and adolescents. Master Canvas Art offers 5 hand-painted oil reproductions of Paul Emile Chabas's work.

Our promise

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
