Raoul de Longpre

Raoul Maucherat de Longpré (1843–1911) was a French floral painter who began his career at age twelve painting flower patterns for the Lyon silk industry and debuted at the Paris Salon in 1877. A specialist in informal arrangements of lilacs, peonies, and roses rendered in jewel-like detail, he and his younger brother Paul became among the most internationally collected flower painters of the late 19th century. Master Canvas Art offers 3 hand-painted oil reproductions of Raoul de Longpre's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
