Salvatore Postiglione

Salvatore Postiglione (1861–1906) was an Italian painter, primarily of portraits and historical-genre subjects in Realist style. Born in Naples to artist Luigi Postiglione, he trained at the Morelli Academy. By the late 19th century, he devoted himself almost exclusively to portraiture, earning wealthy Neapolitan bourgeois clientele.
