Simon Vouet

Simon Vouet (1590–1649) was a French painter who rose to prominence in Italy before being summoned to Paris as Louis XIII's Premier peintre du Roi. Traveling to England and Constantinople before establishing himself in Rome (1614–1627), Vouet mastered Italian Baroque and was elected president of the Accademia di San Luca. Returning to France, he became 'indisputably the leading artist in Paris,' designing decorative schemes for royal palaces. His atelier trained Charles Le Brun. Master Canvas Art offers 1 hand-painted oil reproduction of Simon Vouet's work.

Painted by hand. Not printed.

Trained oil painters

Every canvas is painted by hand by a trained oil artist — no prints, no machine finishing. Each piece carries real brushwork, real texture, real layers.

Museum-grade pigment matching

We mix each pigment against high-resolution museum references. The greens of Monet, the gold of Klimt, the blues of Van Gogh — matched, not approximated.

Layered, cured, built to last

Oil paint is built in layers and allowed to dry between them — the way the originals were made. The result is a canvas with depth, weight, and decades of life.
